Our crystal clear 2K casting resin in a practical 500 g kit offers exceptional clarity and was specially developed for premium casting applications. The innovative semi-inorganic polymer technology ensures maximum transparency, high scratch resistance and a particularly glass-like feel.

Crystal Casting impresses with its crystal-clear appearance and a refractive index similar to real crystal glass. Unlike conventional epoxy resins, the material does not yellow over time and remains permanently transparent. By avoiding epoxy resin and amines, the resin is also non-corrosive, non-toxic and low odor.

The crystal clear 2K casting resin is ideal for jewelry making, resin art, creative casting projects, decorations, coasters, flower preservation, art objects and many other DIY or professional applications. Crystal Casting has a working time of approx. 40 minutes, can be demolded after approx. 36 hours and reaches its final hardness after 3–7 days depending on casting thickness.

Instructions for Use

Please observe all relevant safety and application instructions.

1. Safety: The formulation is non-toxic, however general precautions when handling chemicals should still be observed: Always wear gloves and ensure good ventilation after processing.

2. Measuring and Mixing: Use either the included mixing chart or calculate the required amounts using the mixing ratio. Weigh the required quantity using a precision scale. The included mixing cups (alternatively silicone cups, shot glasses or medicine cups) and included spatulas (alternatively wooden spatulas) can be used for mixing. Stir the components thoroughly for at least 4 minutes – do not forget the sides and bottom of the cup and repot once if necessary.

3. Casting: After mixing, allow the material to sit briefly if necessary so trapped air can escape completely. Glitter, pigments or colors may be added if desired. Using a toothpick or tweezers, carefully drip the resin into a cleaned silicone mold (tip: clean with a damp cloth or packing tape). First lightly cover the bottom and then place the desired materials inside. Materials must be completely dry and non-perishable. Allow to cure for one day and then completely fill the mold with resin.

4. Curing and Demolding: After a minimum of 36 hours the object can be removed from the mold and trimmed (using a small grinder or deburring tool).

5. Finishing: After 3–4 days of curing the object can be wet sanded step by step using grit sizes from 1000–3000. Afterwards polish with a very fine polishing compound. Some pieces may additionally require doming (surface sealing).
