Product number: SW10018

Product information:

  • EXCELLENT ADHESION: the development of this adhesive lies in the plastic/metal bonding and is characterised by an extraordinary adhesion affinity.
  • FAST PROCESSING: the pot life of the product is about 40 seconds (handling strength: 4 minutes, final strength: 24 hours). This minimises the application effort and reduces the service life of any fixing aids.
  • VERSATILE & STURDY: The adhesive bonds all adhesive materials that have a solid surface (not adhesive: PE, PP, PTFE, silicone). The longevity of the adhesive bond is guaranteed due to very high resistance to moisture, temperature and chemicals.
  • NON TOXIC CHEMICALS: the ingredients used are completely non-toxic and have the best physiological parameters. The smell is rated as low.
  • Content: 25 ml adhesive cartridge with stamp, 3 mixing pipes, wooden spatula

AP acrylate-based universal adhesive

This adhesive is an ideal base for a wide range of adhesive applications. Typical substrates for an adhesive bond are: Metals, glass, ceramics, wood, but also plastic (ABS, PMMA, etc.) and many more. The ideal ratio from pot time to fixing time, the crystal clear look and versatile adhesion make it a very good all-rounder. For an ideal application, please observe the following instructions for use.

  • Highest strength with tough elastic impact behaviour
  • Highly resistant to water, chemicals and temperature
  • Completely non-toxic

Instruction

1. Clean the bonding surface: An adhesive can only form its full adhesion if the surface to be bonded is free of dust and grease. Ideally, a volatile solvent (acetone or ethanol) should be used for this purpose. If rubber is bonded or if loose components (e.g. rust) are present, the surface should still be roughened (sandpaper) before cleaning.

2. Consider fixing the parts: To allow the bond to cure in the correct configuration, the parts should be fixed immediately after bonding. For this purpose, you can use, for example, an adhesive tape or holders of any shape.

3. Adhesive application: Remove cartridge cap, attach mixing tube and insert punch for cartridge (product picture 4). The first drop that comes out of the mixing tube after adhesive delivery should not be used, as the components may not yet be perfectly mixed here. Alternatively, you can squeeze out the components without mixing tube and mix them with a wooden spatula if all mixing tubes have already been used up.

4. Cure the adhesive: (Reaction time can be seen in "Technical Data")
